  5. I have gone through quite a few different brands of straighteners and all of them snag my fine hair and break it off.
    I was never able to grow my hair past the mid point of my shoulder blades due to constant breakage.
    I’ve been using GHD for 5 years now and am now able to grow my hair down past the mid of my back. I’ve never had GHD snag or break off my hair.
    As for temperature control, it has a cap when it comes to the heat setting. It doesn’t go any higher than 365 degrees, as to where other brands stop at almost 100 degrees higher. This creates almost a fail safe to ensure people aren’t damaging their hair. I love his videos, but don’t listen 100% to this one. Do your own research.
