  1. Such a clear and helpful explanation on vitamin C! Dr. Ellis really breaks it down in a way that makes sense. Definitely adding those affordable serums to my skincare routine

  2. About 15 years ago I won a Skin Ceuticals skincare basket that had a whole skincare routine, including three serums. My skin honestly never looked so good. I struggled with combo skin/acne, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, and textured skin. After that, I realized that there were certain brands and products that truly were worth their price and Skin Ceuticals was one of them, especially their serums. I’ve used IS Clinical, Obagi, the newer Obagi line and wasn’t impressed with any of those products like I was with those SC serums.

I would love a video that showed the BEST multi-function topicals i.e. serums and creams that hold multiple actives in them to streamline a skincare routine and are worth paying higher prices for. Obviously, the products would have ingredients that had scientific data to support their efficacy, but also the amounts that were in each product would be beneficial and not some negligible sprinkle thrown in to say it has xyz in the formula. I’m really liking the Maelove Peptide Squad and their Vitamin C serum at the moment. Both of those seem to have a good bang for your buck with two products that would really supplement any skincare routine and take it to the next level. Olay has their Super line with a Super Serum and a Super Cream (I would love more data on that line). While I’m not opposed to an 8-step skincare routine, there are days when time is a factor and being able to use two products (after washing) and have all my bases covered sounds very appealing.

  3. Thank you for your very informative videos ! Question, may I use Maelove vitamin C in the morning followed by Medik8 liquid peptides ? Or they don’t go together! Or I should use the liquid peptides before my Tretinoid ? Thank you
